Class Policies
Class size is limited. Pre-registration and payment is required to hold a space. Store credits or credit towards another class will gladly be honored if at least a 48 hour notice has been given. No-shows or last minute cancels will not receive store credit, fees are non refundable. Messages left on the shop voice mail will not be honored. If a class is canceled by Natural Expressions, we will notify each student within 48 hours and re-schedule for a date that is convenient for both parties, or a full refund by check will be issued.
All classes have a detailed supply list that is given at the time class fee has been paid. All supplies specified on class supply list must be purchased in advance. A 10% discount for class materials is given when purchased in shop prior to day of class. Most beading classes supply tools for use during the class session, but require purchase of materials. We have a wide range of fabric and beads, so please allow yourself enough time to purchase your supplies, roughly 1 hour or more. Classes start promptly as scheduled. Sorry, but we can not accommodate children or non-paying guests during class. Age limit for scheduled classes are 12 yrs of age and up. Please contact Natural Expressions for information on private classes for children under the age of 12.

Beginning Beading
Learn the basics of bead stringing using the best tools and materials to attach a clasp the best way possible. Make either a bracelet or necklace using beads of your choice and leave with a completed creation.
*Simple Earrings to match - This 1/2 hour add on to Beginning Beading teaches you to make a simple set of earrings to match your design.
Beginning Wire Wrap Bracelet
Create your own links with sterling silver or gold-filled wire to form a delicate bracelet with beads of your choice. This is the most versatile technique for the styles of today.

Make a statement in this original, fun bracelet or earrings that you can personalize with your choice of beads while learning the technique of wire wrapping using headpins.
Beginning Wire Wrap with Briolette
Wire wrapping with an extra twist. Briolette beads that have a hole drilled through the top, with a teardrop shape. This technique is great for earrings as well as pendants for necklaces.
Wire Wrap Ring
This new addition to our list of classes is fun for all levels. Choose from crystals, semi-precious stones, or glass to create this nested wire ring. You can make up to 3 rings in one class session!

Sewing Classes
Fun & Fuzzy Rag Quilt
Ages 12+ this beginner level quilt can be completed in just one day! Choose from our new assortments of Amy Butler, Anna Marie Horner, and Vallori Wells flannels to achieve the fuzzy borders surrounding each square.
The Little Wallet
For beginning sewers, this quick and fun project is made using Vallori Wells' pattern, Little Wallet. It has 3 inside pockets to hold your business cards, frequent buyer cards, stamp cards, credit cards, etc.! Great practice with sewing curves too!
Quilt As You Go 
For the confident beginner sewer, there's no need to send this quilt top to the Long Arm Quilter to finish putting your top and backing together. You will complete this entire quilt from start to finish for a completely handmade quilt! Also learn how to do the perfect blind stitch binding!
Sew Simple
Learn the basics of sewing while completing a project of your choice: simple blanket, nine patch lap quilt, pajama bottoms or a bag. No sewing experience required. Sewing machines are available for rent.
Yellow Brick Road
Complete this beginner quilt using the popular pattern: Yellow Brick Road. Learn how to cut and measure using a rotary cutter and other useful tips about the basics of quilting. A great class for a sewer who would love to learn how to quilt!

Birthday Beading Parties for ages 7-14
A two hour time period is allotted with one of our beading experts to help the children create their one of a kind jewelry pieces. After they design and string their necklaces & bracelets, the beading expert will clasp to finish them so they are ready to wear; children will not be learning to do the clasping technique.
The birthday girl/boy will come in with a parent several days prior to the date of the party to pick out the beads for the entire group. Our sales staff will guide you as to how much to get and assist with color choices. This way we can have everything set up for you when you arrive!
In the end, each child will walk away with 2 pieces of jewelry that they can proudly say they made on their own!
Pricing:
$15 per child
10% discount for all supplies needed for the beading party.
Minimum of 5 children and Maximum of 10 (including birthday boy/girl)
*Please make reservations at least 2 weeks in advance so we can secure your space and provide proper staffing. Payment for a minimum of 5 is required to reserve your party date & time.
**Bead parties are designed to be the activity portion for your group. There are a variety of local restaurants & ice cream shops available for the meal and desert portion of your party.
